The year was 1998 and it was the start of my junior year (fall 98) at lancaster mennonite. I had a new homeroom teacher mr. geyer. An english teacher who taught 9 & 10th grade english. He made it known that he was a "river brethern" which didn't make him special to me. In my opinion, he said this because one of the most popular teachers (mr. dietz) at the school came from that sect and was an awesome bible teacher. He also talked about his international students. I always thought he was weird. Now I know he was more than weird he was a child molester.
When I graduated in 2000, I forgot about mr. geyer, that was until I turned on the news (recently) and saw his picture all over it. We had a pervert among us, and he was my home room teacher. He apparently liked international students (koreans) and threatened that if they didn't sleep with him. He would have them sent back to s. korea which is really messed up to me. I find this whole thing disgusting and I feel bad for his victims who were boys.
